We've been busy planning the nursery for our baby.
Since we love dogs, that is the theme we chose for the nursery. This is the view from the doorway looking into the room.
We selected pear green and baby bluebird blue as the colors for the
nursery. Here you can see the crib, all set up and waiting for Shia to get big enough to use (he's in a bassinet
in mom and dad's room right now!) You can also see next to the crib a child size desk for playing - a piece
of furniture Jeremy has cherished since he was a little boy! We look forward to Shia sitting here to play.
Here you can see the reading nook with a built in desk, just
perfect for Shia to sit and color, play or study as he grows a bit bigger! We've been busy shopping for
dog themed baby clothes, blankets, booties and more, some of which you can see here on the desk. If it has dogs on it,
Shia will be wearing it!
We can't wait to snuggle up with our little one in this cozy chair
as we read bed time stories. You can also see the cradle which we moved to our room for the time being. We just
can't seem to spend time away from Shia. We even hate to put him down - he's a great at cuddling!
